NAT Home Care Academy will provide students the information for the National Exam during class.

Are there different levels of Phlebotomy classes?

There are three levels of certification for Phlebotomy. Based on work experience and number of venipunctures as well as a written exam. The number of venipunctures vary between states.
Level I: Limited Phlebotomy Technician (LPT) – skin puncture phlebotomy only.
Level II: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) – skin puncture and venipuncture.
Level III: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT II) – skin puncture, venipuncture and arterial draws.
